Maintaining women's rights

Clinics that are currently set up to offer women health care, information and choices to make an informed decision about abortion do not need the government's interference with new architectural requirements.  These clinics should continue to follow the guidelines that are currently in place and to treat them as other similar facilities.

The new requirements will shut down many of the current facilities and offer women less choice.  The agencies that can afford to make these changes will have to increase prices and be out of financial reach for most women.  Making a decision to have an abortion is at best, a very difficult one.  It must not include the government's interference of adding more restrictions by changing the availability of this option.  Women who can not afford to go to the new facilities will only seek less desirable and unsafe options.  You must know that places like this will exist and women will use them.

Instead of going forward, it appears that the government, by adding new restrictions and guidelines, will be going backward.  Please do not take away a woman's right to make her own decision concerning her body, her choice, and her future.  This will only hurt the health and safety of women.
