560+ comments so far, most pleading for appropriate health regulations for abortion clinics, requesting that they be held to the same standards as "hospitals and other clinics". These two phrases are incompatible. Appropriate regulations for an abortion clinic are not the same as for a  hospital. Please do hold abortion clinics to the same standards as other clinics and as appropriate for the services being provided at a women's clinic. Regulations are necessary. Unnecessary regulation are just that. Women deserve access to clinics that meet their needs and those of the care providers, not some arbitrary one size fits all regulation that applies to one kind of clinic and hospitals.
