How can opponents to the current medical regulation of abortion clinics be blind to the hundreds of violations in the short time since inpsections have started? Violations including administration of controlled substances by unauthorized, untrained personnel, unsanitary blood stained surgical implements/counters/exam tables/storage areas, inability of EMT personnel to extract safely women in crisis medical situations due to improper clinic layout, improper disposal of biohazardous materials, and fetal remains improperly handled!!
Should even one women's life be sacrificed to protect the income stream of unsafe abortion clinics?
Not only should these medical safety standards be continued and enforced, but if other similar medical service providers are not protecting their patients I could only hope that the legislature and our Board of Health would address these risks also.
