A real threat to accurate voting are DREs, which have proven to be 'hackable.' The last egregious incident was in the South Carolina Democratic senatorial primary before the general election that Jim Demint was reelected. The DREs in the Spartanburg area showed more votes for candidate Alvin Green than were cast.
