Definition of "Valid"

Merriam-Webster defines "valid" as, "logically correct " or "appropriate to the end in view."  The re-definition of "valid" identification to include an expired ID is clearly not "logically correct."  Moreover, the acceptance of expired IDs is an obvious open invitation to voter fraud.  So much so, that any reasonable person must question the motives of those proposing the re-definition.

The proposal to re-define "valid" in an illogical manner should be withdrawn immediately.  Otherwise, Virginia elections will be open to compromise and the deciding board will be desrving of the same derision as Bill Clinton's infamous query as to, "what the definition of 'is' is."
