The purpose of photo ID is to confirm identification of the voter.  It does not matter if the voter has given up driving and let their driver's license expire. The voter remains the same person regardless of expiration date on the photo ID.

Let's keep the voting requirements above the fray of political divisions. It's an honor to be able to vote in a democracy, a gift to be fairly rewarded rather than penalized.
