These restrictions are pointless and discriminatory in that they are not applied equally across the board to other healthcare providers who engage in practices that carry similar (or, in some cases, greater - ex., dental surgery) risks than pregnancy termination. All this is doing is making women's lives harder and wasting taxpayer money that would be better served by funding things like comprehensive sex education or repair/maintenance of state infrastructures.
