REPEAL Proposed Regulations on Women's Healthcare Facilities

The recently proposed regulations for Virginia women’s health centers are about politics - NOT  about access to responsible, comprehensive reproductive health services. I EXPECT the Board of Health to REPEAL & RE-WRITE the proposed regulations on existing & future women’s healthcare  centers to protect women’s rights to comprehensive health services including all forms of reproductive care.  Doctors, health care professionals, and a majority of Virginians oppose the new regulations.. The citizens of this Commonwealth can not afford to have  tens of thousands of Virginia women and families to lose access to the critical medical care services they can now receive. Unnecessary regulations will close women’s health centers that currently provide such services as critical cancer screenings and birth control options.  It is imparitive that the Commissioner & the Board of Health RECIND these imposed restrictions and disallow  any new regulations that are not based on medical facts that promote preventative health & the well being of the citizens of Virginia.
