Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

If The Virginia State Board of Health is truly seeking the protect the health and well-being of the citizens of the commonwealth, it will uphold and affirm the health and safety standards of abortion centers. It is quite telling that pro-abortion groups are seeking to oppose even the most common sense application of health and safety practices. What could possibly motivate any organization that labels itself a "womens health organization" to rally against regulations meant to guarantee sanitary conditions and medical practices for women undergoing an invasive procedure" The answer -- money! Abortion is $1 billion+ industry in this country and any effort to ensure the safety of abortion centers and the women that seek their services is met with overwhelming political pressure and stunning disregard to the health of the patient. Would the board of health seek to relax safety standards at hospital emergency rooms or surgical suites because of political pressure from an entity benefiting from lax standards" Should women undergoing an invasive procedure expect sanitary standards inferior to the nearest veterinary clinic" Of course not, the notion is absurd.I am respectfully asking The Virginia State Board of Health to affirm the reasonable health and safety standards for abortion centers that were put in place with regard to well-being of Virginias women.
