Students in this day in age are exposed to violence, sex, obscure language, and controversesy. However it is up to the maturity of the student to determine what's wrong and what's right. If they are not exposed to these type of concerns, would the parents be in charge of teaching them those concerns that the parents are fighting to desperatley not to show their children in books? And if the parents do teach them there would be bias in the amount of knowledge that the child will learn. We're restricting our children to obtain valuable information that would quite possibly help them understand the world's concerns. And I myself am sure that a child has alreaddy expereinced these concerns in movies, shows, social media and yes even the parents themselves
