NPS current policies already give parents opt-out ability. The district already has a list of approved novels.  Teachers already have an enourmous amount of paperwork to complete, are available to parents, and post syllabus to webpages and assignments in eSembler.  Parents who wish to be involved in their chil'd education have every opportunity to do so.  This regulation could repress creativity and innovation in  lesson planning; furthermore, teachers are the experts in their fields, parents should trust them.
