I am writing to express my strong support for creating regulations to address the parental notification and use of sensitive, sexually-explicit material in the classroom. There is so much noble, beautiful, intellgient, inspiring literature that we can share with our children....teachers have no reason to work on anything else. I htink that a teacher should be able to justify to the parents why any particular controversial or explicit material has important enough merit to be taught instead of something esle. If they can not, it should not be taught.
