Bottom line:  My children, my decision.  It's a bit scary to read so many comments from educators that think they trump parental rights.  If a teacher believes this is just too much to do then maybe that teacher needs to find another job.  Just because a child is in public school does not mean that the teacher replaces what the parents deem appropriate.
