Pregnant women in general and inmate pregnant women in particular should be treated wth respect and dignity. Inmate pregnant women deserve a safe, clean, and healthy environment or facility during their pregnancy, delivery, and birthing
period. As taxpayers, we can demand equal treatment for our sisters who have the same right and dignity as any other pregnant woman.
