These regulations are clearly the result of conservative politicking and are not the result of actual concern for women's health. Access to safe, legal abortion is necessary for women's health. These regulations seek to make it impossible for already well-regulated clinics to operate. How is that helping women? Abortion access is a human right, and women in Virginia should have ready access to abortion in both clinics and hospitals without needless, petty, and political regulation getting in the way.
