EVV Exemption for Live in caregivers

Please keep the  EVV exemption for us family members that care for our loved ones with disabilities. I concur with the thought that setting alarms to remind ourselves to clock in, and end shift is a bit much. In reality we would have to clock in at midnight or 3am if our son has wet the bed due to a neurological bladder or cannot cath due to a blocked tunnel. Do you really think we would remember to clock in? Yes time may be entered on  another platform, but then it is not compliant. Lord knows what the consequences will be for being non compliant... I understand fraud is a bit rampant in Medicaid/Medicare. We are supportive of this endeavor to tighten up.  IF you find fraud in family members caregiver situations I stand corrected. Our hesitation in supporting a broker centered system is lack of knowledge. Are they paid by insurance companies? Will they have our faily members / clients best interests?

We are very grateful for this service but please keep live in caregivers process as is..

Thank you!
