As a single mother of a 17 year old with profound, non speaking Autism and Down Syndrome, I need all the help I can get! Managing and finding care is another part time job on top of woking 2 jobs myself and managing a household and all that goes with it by myslef. I think I can speak for most parents, single or married, that we are truly exhausted and our own mental health hangs by a thread many days. Our children are precious, and deserve to be supported.
