I respectfully oppose assigning these duties to the DMAS Broker. I believe this arrangement creates a potential conflict of interest and may not be in the best interest of the recipient. Service facilitators and brokers should have clearly separate roles to ensure recipients receive unbiased support and advocacy when making decisions about their services.
I have been very satisfied with the services provided by Toddlers to Grandparents and have found them to be responsive, professional, and focused on the needs of the individual receiving care. Maintaining independent service facilitation helps protect recipient choice and ensures that services remain person-centered rather than influenced by organizational interests.
Thank-you
