On behalf of myself (employer of record), my attendant and the consumer/patient, we adamantly ask that the independent facilitators in the DMAS program for VA be allowed to continue serving patients. They are vital to the service we receive for our patient. Our facilitator is the best we've ever had. She gives us one on one attention, gets back to us as soon as possible, always has the proper paper work necessary for each visit. We (including the patient) performance a person who takes interest in our needs and deals with you personally. Our independent facilitator knows us personally and professionally which we find quite refreshing in today's world of corporate coldness. Corporations lack the warmth of a personal touch. We need more independent facilitators that care and do the excellent level of work that our facilitator does. We have had previous options of a corporate facilitator company and we purposely chose not to. In our opinion independent facilitators is the only way to go!!
