FF / Paramedic supporting repeal of the weapons ban

As a retired BPFD Fire Fighter Paramedic I still remember vividly the day my partner walked up to the door of a house we had been called to, only to be met by the barrel of a shotgun with orders to get down on his knees, defenseless he complied. As it was a house with a "history of trouble" the police had also responded distracting the shooter and he escaped. This is just one of the many times every year EMS workers have their live placed in danger.

Fire & EMS are putting it out on the line everyday, going into the most dangerous locations in the state yet their safety is ignored. This must end, the Second Amendment right to self-defense thier very self-preservation can no longer be denied. EMS worker dedicate themselves to saving lives but, if that terrible day comes, they should not have to sacrifice theirs lives for political correctness.
