I stand with ONCDC and every opinion submitted by members of the organization. 

Especially on class pets - my 2 year old loves having a turtle in the classroom - and child supervision. Building independence at a very young age is extremely important to overall development and future success. Children need to learn that they can be trusted. Starting at very young ages, we need to empower our children to accomplish tasks, run errands, and make executive decisions. These are lifelong skills even my 2 year old is capable of. And the sooner she learns them, the more successful she will be as an older child, teen, and adult.
