Strongly Opposed

As a parent I am responsible for my childs safety and health. By forcing daycares to provide epinephrine we are putting that responsibility on a business. We don't provide antibiotics or any other medications and  give them to children while in our care. I'm not sure why this is any different. The cost of this medication is also going to be a burden upon the facility and will have to be passed on meaning the tuition rates will rise making it even harder for the parents to pay their bills, meanwhile for the majority of centers this medication will simply sit in a cabinet and go to waste. Which in turn means more money going out to buy more that will be wasted. I just can't see how this is helping  anyone. The majority of children don't need an epi-pen and those that do will already have one. I feel like our time and money could be better used somewhere else.
