Strongly Oppose

I don see a need for the Epipen and it is simply waste of our monies for the following reasons

  1. Parents will provide EPipen or other medicine that was doctor's recommendation if their child is allergic to anything. so we carry Epipen when there is a child with allregy under care
  2. The Generic Epipen may not be the appropritae medicine to administer as we do not know how the child react. If somethign adverse happens, who is responsible? Is County taking liability for this?
  3. Even if we invest in Epipen, it comes with heavy investment and they expire. This is very unreasonable
  4. Provider may mistake for other symptoms for allergies sometimes. How do we ensure Epipen is the answer? Providers are not professionals
