I am a clinical psychologist who has been living and practicing in Virginia for over 25 years. As someone who has worked extensively with members of the trans community, I strongly oppose the language and spirit of Petition 432. The vagueness and lack of scientific basis of the petition quite simply opens the door to giving people the right to discriminate against trans people.
