Vote NO on Petition 432.  It has nothing to do with the public health of Virginians.  Trans women are NOT a public health threat to the physical and psychological health of cisgender women.  Branding gender nonconforming people as such makes harm to all Virginians more likely in the forms of harassment, shaming, and physical attacks to 'verify' gender.

The real public health issues facing women and girls in Virginia are domestic violence, impaired maternal health, and poverty which the State Board of Health and legislators should be addressing, not this petition that calls for discrimination of people simply for who they are.  This petition should be denied.
