I strongly oppose petition 432 and I believe it is a misuse of the State Board of Health processes to promote a discriminatory social and cultural agenda rather than physical health.  The State Board of Health is about Public Health services, prevention of disease, and epidemiology.  This petition does not fall within the Board of Health's mandate, especially regarding sports competitions and use of bathroom or locker facilities.  It has no foundations in science or public health.  

These attacks hurt trans people, who already have are at risk for poor psychological health.  Trans people are not 'hazards and nuisances' to anyone's public health.  These attacks also increase harmful scrutiny of all women and girls and possible harm to those who don't fit gender stereotypes. Please deny this petition
