The trans athlete  not only replaces the girl who would have been first but the one who would have medaled as third, or fifth to be seen by colleges at state competition, or the last one to make the team. All girls are in danger of being hurt as Peyton McCabe was. All girls lose their privacy (especially hard on any girls that might have been sexually abused). To 'help' one trans athlete you would harm physically or emotionally  whole teams of biological girls. The 'help' is in quotes because many studies have found that 'gender affirming care' does not lower suicide rates and gender confusion.
