I live in Staunton, Virginia. I've been a public health policy advocate for 35 years. In the name of sound public health policy, please reject this petition. Transgender people are not a threat to anyone and deserve full protection and the right to live their lives unfettered from rules and regs that are clearly driven by ignorance and hate.

I have worked with many transgender people throughout my career. Navigating life as a transgender person is not easy. Transgender people deserve better care and more respect. 

This petition is tantamount to public health malpractice and must be soundly rejected.
