Trans women and girls deserve to be able to participate in sports in a way that preserves their safety and dignity. They are not predatory men trying to gain access to women’s space, and science does not uphold the idea that all trans women automatically have an advantage over any non-trans women. Trans women and girls are simply people who want to participate in sports for all the same reasons that non-trans women do. Trans women are more endangered by being forced to use men’s facilities than non-trans women are by the simple presence of trans women. 

Please reject this proposal, which further demonizes and endangers trans women and girls.
