Women’s Rights are not biological men’s rights

Title IX is commonly recognized for the opportunities that it created for women. Signed by Richard Nixon in 1972 it paved the way for equality for women in athletics. Without the women sporting category that resulted from Title IX I would not have been able to play collegiate sports.

By not supporting women and defending our rights; “equating sex to gender identity as it pertains to education all programs means males identifying as women could and would be randomly assigned to live and share dormitory room with 17-18 year old girls. It means males could and would have full access to all bathrooms, locker rooms, changing spaces, and in private spaces on college campuses. It means males could and would take academic and athletic scholarships away from women. It means males who perceive themselves as women could and would join sororities.

The worst part is that WE, as biological woman, are being silenced. Our politicians, universities, and institutions are gaslighting and emotionally blackmailing us into feeling like we are in the wrong. We are made to feel guilty for demanding fairness.

Why are biological women not granted equity and fairness and safety? We are being asked to “deny our legitimate existence and uniqueness to cater to males who infringe upon our opportunities and spaces. Let me be clear. Women are not the problem. Women are not doing anything wrong by advocating for our biology, our rights, and the spaces that were created specifically for us. Title IX was enacted and enforced to protect girls and women, not men who want to be liked us, so it’s us who’ll need to fight to reclaim it.
