We have been fighting for our lives in this career field ever since COVID!! We need to be encouraging people to JOIN the field of nursing, not creating more reasons for them to leave. This is a ridiculous proposition and an insult to those of us who have remained loyal throughout a national pandemic and nursing shortage. To think that our reward for this loyalty is an increase this significant in fees for maintaining our license is an insult to nurses everywhere. How dare you make such an absurd & ridiculous proposition in a time like this!!! Shame on you.
