increasing access to care should not put patients at risk. Optometrist are not physicians and are not surgeons. They should not be able to become surgeons through paperwork without five years of surgical residency training as is the standard for the rest of the medical field. Please stop taking physicians for granted and value the work we put into helping patients the right way.
