Protecting patients, their eyesights and quality of care is of the utmost importance in this specialized and complex field. MDs/DOs go through years of training including residency, fellowship in a monitored setting to gain the knowledge and skill to perform these specialized procedures. Oppose non MD/DOs performing any corrective eye surgeries.
