I oppose the change to the accountability measures.  This seems to be a strategy to change the goal posts so that public education appears to be failing. We need to support, not sabotage public schools. Virginia should start giving schools the resources they need to adequately teach students..  This is especialy important for Title 1 and rural schools.  Virginia has been underfunded K-12 education for years and although the claim is that there is so much more funding today than a few years ago FUNDING HAS NOT KEPT UP WITH INFLATION.
