Oppose dog trespassing and collar bills

I strongly oppose both bills in discussion! The trespassing bill defies all rights of hunters hindering their ability to utilize State and federal lands because of private property that adjoins them! It also disregards all the data that has been collected by the dwr, on the fact that hound trespassing is very low!

As for the collar bill ,most hunters run collars to recover their hounds! But in review of the proposed bill it is poorly and vaguely written and could be interpreted in many ways by both who oppose and are for hound hunting.

In conclusion if the trespassing bill were to pass I believe we should revisit the laws and regulations of marking private property in the order of no purple paint on trees and no trespassing signs should be presented every 150 feet and have the name and two phone numbers on them, and be mandatory law to replace worn or missing signs every 2 years. So hunters have a better opportunity to contact the land owner.
