If kratom is listed as a schedule 1 drug it will only harm our communities. This is not an opinion, this is a fact supported by overwhelming evidence. All research into the efficacy of our drug scheduling system points to one conclusion: it fails miserably at reducing the harm caused by these drugs, and instead ruins lives. Moreover, kratom is used responsibly by hundreds of thousands of Americans. It is very safe, and even a critical treatment for people fighting opioid addiction. Scheduling Kratom would be a horribly misguided decision.
