How many teens die from alcohol daily? How many adults? How many innocent people driving down the road are killed by a drunk driver? Until you start looking at scheduling alcohol as class 1 you should probably leave a plant that it’s 99.99999% safer, alone. 
This plant keeps myself as well as 10,000s of others off of harder drugs and alcohol. Banning it would lead to MORE deaths, not less.
