I am a chronic pain patient on Medicare. I can not take any opioids due to alcoholism. However, I can safely use kratom to treat my pain without fear of relapse. Prior to kratom I was a junky addicted to street narcotics. Kratom got me clean from a lifelong addiction. Now I am able to use kratom intermittently, as-needed. Something I was never capable of achieving on poppy-based natural or synthetic opioids. Please do not schedule this herb. If you must control it, restrict it to persons 21+.
