Good evening,

   My name is Mike. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the meeting tomorrow, so I decided to express my voice in this email. I am a 49-year-old male, with 4 daughters and reside in Algonquin Illinois. 

I never knew what Kratom was until a year ago. You see, I was a heavy drinker. The only escape from a hard day's work was a nice cold beer and a shot to chase it down. In my employment, my position is a demanding one. I oversee 21 employees and my position is very stressful. 

Last year I went to recertify my medical examination card, which is required in my field. The news I got from the doctor was unheard of. He explained to me that my blood pressure was sky high, and he could not re certify my examination until I went to see the doctor 

So now I am sitting in the Doctor's office for a visit I thought I would never need to schedule. High blood pressure. What are the odds 

After several tests including blood, my doctor sat down with me and introduced me to blood pressure medicine. She told me to take pills until next visit.

The next visit was a month later. Doctor was not impressed with the results and prescribed me a higher dose of medicine. 

Thats when I was introduced to Kratom.

I explained to my friend what was going on, and he insisted for me not to take the new medication. He explained to me that my problem was the alcohol. 

I guess a beer and a shot was an underestimated statement. In fact, I was consuming 10 beers a night followed by 10 shots of hard liquor.

As he explained to me about the dosage and how to take it, I went ahead and tried Kratom for the 1st time.

As the next day came and I arrived at home I consumed a glass of kratom tea. A good half hour went buy and my friend had called and asked if I had taken the Kratom. I explained to him yes. His next question he asked is Have I consumed any alcohol. I told him no.

You see. After that day I no longer craved alcohol. The dosage of kratom tea subsided my temptation for alcohol.

It has been a little over a year. No alcohol. No hard liquor. Can you believe it?

No blood pressure medicine. Just the tea. 

Went to the doctor and everything that was in dangerous levels have dropped dramatically to normal levels. Went from a daily 176 over 117 daily to yesterday's reading of 128 over 83. Been like that since I was introduced to Kratom. Got my examination card with flying colors. No medication whatsoever

It saved my life. I still have no urge to drink a beer after a hard day's work. My stressful job is still stressful, but I have a clearer mind approaching situations and have an easy feeling about it all now. 

I can't explain what it does for everyone. I can only explain to you what it has done for me. For my family. For my employment. It saved me from a point in my life that could have ended in death.
