PLEASE DO NOT BAN KRATOM, IT SAVES LIVES!!!

PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS!! I have lost too many friends to the disease that is opioid addiction, and Kadon has been something that I have seen with my own two eyes help people not only relapse, but when off of painkillers entirely, or choose to stick with the option that has shown to be the least harmful. it is well documented that overdoses on Krat are unbelievably rare, and any any overdoses that I’ve been noted, have been, either typically due to mix it with other substances, based off of the reports that have been coming out. This would be such a huge mistake, and will exponentially increase overdoses and boost the power for those in the black market. This will absolutely destroy families, communities, and pain, patients all alike, and do absolutely nothing regarding decreasing opioid use. There are a plethora of studies showing the high safety profile of Krat versus things such as prescription opioids, as well as NSAIDS. This would be the worst mistake and absolutely the worst decision. Someone could make in trying to assist people in drug addiction and addiction in general. I have been studying Psyko, pharmacology and chemical, addictions, specifically, and criminalizing this drug, especially putting it in schedule. One, would be unbelievably detrimental to the recovery process for so many people. If you want to save lives, do not ban Kratom! All it will do is increase black market, use and overdoses.
