DO NOT BAN KRATOM!!!

I was an EMT, driving an ambulance that got rear ended on the highway and I suffered two herniated discs in my lumbar spine as a result. The doctors prescribed my Vicodin, Gabapentin and gave me Toradol injections which worked temporarily but still I could not get out of bed. The pain was constant unless I stayed perfectly still in bed. Then I found Kratom.  My pain was reduced by about 3 to 4 times as much when compared to Vicodin.A legal and much safer alternative to opioid drugs which worked much better and did not impair my abilities but rather offered a boost in mood and energy. It allowed me to be able to participate in Physical therapy and heal. Kratom is much, much safer than the opioid drugs on the market today like Vicodin, Oxycontin and Fentanyl. It should not be banned but instead used as it was in my case to help live effectively with chronic pain  . It is the superior choice and many people would still be alive today if they found Kratom before Fentanyl. Keep it legal. Please, it is the right thing to do.
