Kratom

Please don't stop the use of kratom.  I am 65 years old retired registered nurse and I use it for pain. I don't have to take narcotics for my: degenerative disc disease,  my fibromyalgia, arthritis and other aches and pains that comes with age. My Dr is very pleased that I use kratom instead of oxycodone or other narcotics.  I told my Dr to follow the science behind kratom before asking meto take anything else. It works for me and if I don't need it I don't take it with no adverse effects. I honestly feel that kratom has kept me from being dependent on narcotics.  I don't need them and don't want to have to start using them.  If kratom was banned I would become addicted to something much worse or be chair bound and in pain most of the time. My son was able to stop an addiction to opiates with kratom.  When I had knee replacement surgery last August my surgeon said I would have pain for a year after surgery.  Other than the 90 oxycodone he gave me for 2 months,  I have only used kratom and tylenol.  Please let kratom stay what God intended it to be,  a helpful plant. Thank you.
