Commenter: Former Police Officer

Listing/Banning Kratom is incredibly uninformed and short-sighted

As a former police officer & Deputy Sheriff and now Chemistry teacher, I have witnessed first hand the incredible ability of Kratom to take dangerous drug addicts and make turn them into productive law abiding members of society.

During the opioid crisis I witnessed thousands of people over dose on the Pharmaceutical companies products. And I have yet to witness even 1 case of alleged harm caused by Kratom.

The forces pushing this ban are well funded and back by the Pharmaceutical Industrial complex--- it nullifies our needs for their opioid "cures". And if Kratom was so dangerous [Schedule 1]? Then why are there Pharmaceutical patent applications trying to isolate the beneficial alkaloids found naturally in the Kratom plant?

This is about power, money, and control-- it is NOT about the safe use of Kratom purchased through regulated Kratom vendors.

Get behind the Kratom Consumer Protection Act [KCPA] and set aside the "research" [allegedly unbiased] by the Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex.
