Considering the ban of this supplement is wildly irresponsible for health &safety of Virginians

If the concern surrounding Kratom is about public health, prohibition could drive Kratom consumption underground, leading to unregulated black market sales and potentially dangerous products. Instead of criminalizing its use, we should focus on education, harm reduction, and responsible regulation to protect public health and safety.

Furthermore, by implementing an amendment on the legislation including quality control measures and age restrictions, we can ensure the safe consumption of Kratom while minimizing any potential risks. Regulation would also allow for proper labeling and dosage information, empowering consumers to make informed decisions about its use.

To conclude, banning this supplement will only increase deaths of Virginians who will turn to actual drugs (Fentanyl, Opioids, etc.). Nothing good will come from ignoring constituents stories and how it has changed their lives for the better.
