I have personally witnessed these nets being use in waters less than 30ft deep in the Chesapeake Bay. If VMRC won’t push the reduction fishery outside of 3miles the least that can do is give the red drum and Cobia a chance by reducing net sizes. Limit nets sizes in the bay based on water depth, or just do what’s right and make them stay in the EEZ.
