I do not support the regulation of purse-seine gear. I urge you to ask yourself the benefit if the nets were in-fact "dragging the bottom". These are local, multi-generational, hardworking fishermen whose intention is to earn an honest living for their family. Net tears and any destruction to our habitat ultimately affects their way of life.  NOAA even recognizes, "The purse seine is highly effective and has little to no effect on habitat. "
