Hello

My name is Levi Opsatnic and I'm grateful for my ability to make a public comment regarding the reformation of Virginia's Menhaden Fishery. 

I am a member of the public who enjoys fishing along the entire Atlantic coast. I make annual visits to various states in search of fishing and I am urging you to properly regulate the purse seining of menhaden in Virginia. 

Please use the purse seines as intended and not in water depths less than 60 feet. It's common knowledege that doing this can cause damage to fish habitats that are essential to the life and quality of our ocean and a vast range of fish species. I would greatly appreciate seeing proper depth restrictions in place here and would greatly appreciate the sustainable and responsible management of Menhaden in Virginia and the rest of the country.
