We, as recreation fishermen, have been trying to get commercial menhaden fishing out of the State of Virginia waters for several decades.  As long as the money flows from Omega Protein to our government officials, we will never be successful in doing that.  Our current Governor recently replaced two recreational fisher on the VMRC Board with two individuals favorable to the continuation of raping the Chesapeake Bay by Omega.
