My family and friends witnessed first hand the devastation of hundreds of thousands dead fish last summer on the beach of Chesapeake bay east. Needless to say it was not a pleasant fourth of July week 2022.  I have observed the birds on the bay for many years, this year I do not see as many as before.  Recently retired, I would like to take up fishing, however understand that there are not so many desirable fish to catch now.
