As a Chesapeake Bay angler, boater, and local resident, I support this petition.  I think it is the minimum first step in reducing the adverse impact this industry is having on the Bay's economy and environment. It provides common sense solutions that would help address purse seining impacts to critical nursery habitats and bycatch of gamefish populations.
